What is e-Channel?
e-Channel is the online Literacy and Basic Skills program. It is funded by Ontario’s Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development. This Employment Ontario program provides online literacy courses to adults in Ontario that are either
- live courses in an online classroom at a scheduled time or
- anytime courses done independently
What classes are available?
There are classes available in these subjects and more

- test preparation

What does it cost to take a course?
There is no cost to adults in Ontario.

Do I need special training to take a course online?
No. Each organization offers help to new users. You must be able to
