Online skills upgrading
The LearningHUB offers online skills upgrading courses to help adults improve their reading, writing, math and computer and other essential skills. It helps them:
- Get a job or promotion
- Upgrade skills to take a college, university or apprenticeship program
- Improve self-esteem and confidence
- Build communication and teamwork skills
- Understand workplace documents and digital technology
- Prepare for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalency
- Set goals and manage personal change
Courses range from graphic design and Excel to math boot camp and voting in a municipal election.
Students need their own email address, access to the Internet and a reliable computer.
